Ercol 427 Easy Chair

The Ercol 427 or ‘floating chair’ was designed to be free of rigid cross rails essential in the construction of normal chairs to create a ‘new dimension in ease and softness’. It was produced between 1959 and1970. The chair has been given a very light restoration, retaining the original finish. New Pirelli webbing has been added to the seat and back and it has been given new seat pads in medium density foam. Removable covers have been made in Linwood fabric.
